Each AquaCam comes with recording software and time delay options along with pole-mount ease of use. Our step-by-step instructions allow you to use your own laptop to record in the appropriate resolution, allowing easy recording and playback. Not only SEE what you are recording, but access each file immediately and play back for coach or swimmer.
With the new HD AquaCam you can switch between 1080p at 60 Frames per Second or 1440 (2K) at 30 FPS. No battery is needed and step-by-step computer software instructions are included. Select between three different focal lengths. Like our standard AquaCam, it is portable and easily adjustable to any angle for stationary or tracking/following angles.

Our SD (standard definition) AquaCam is 480p resolution at 30 FPS with the same ease of use and versatility it has always had, but now at a lower price. As you can see from the SD videos further below, the younger the swimmer, the clearer the mistakes are. Super HD recording may not be needed. Comes with battery, charger, analog video adaptor, and easy instructions.
If you dont want to use your own laptop, or cant find an older one for dedicated use, consider our wrist-mount systems (shown at bottom of this page) which include a portable recording unit that stores all video on a thumb drive. This gives incredible versatility. (But most used laptops under $200 work well for recording and playback, even though they may need a harness for hands-free use.)
HOW IT WORKS
The AquaCam clips to the end of a pole, is placed in the water and is viewed by the coach on their laptop as they follow the swimmer in frame. Just push a button to start or stop recording using your laptop or our wrist-mount recorders. Digital video is automatically saved and recorded via the included soft-ware or on a thumb drive. It can run on Mac, Windows or Linux operating systems. (No iOS or Android yet.) Start, Pause and Stop features make it easy to set up for the best viewing angles and recordings with no wasted "dead time" to fast-forward through. Video can be played back immediately for stroke demonstration and correction, either on the laptop screen or through an HDMI cable to a larger flat screen TV on deck. Multiple options allow flexible use, with the goal of making FAST swimmers!

The quickest way to correct strokes and make your swimmer's faster !
* WHAT IS "TIME-DELAY"
One of the best features we offer is the ability to do "time-delay" for your swimmers. This allows a delay in the playback (adjustable from 10 to 60 seconds) allowing your swimmers time to climb out of the pool, walk up to whatever monitor you are using, and immediately view what they just did while the "kinesthetic feeling" is still fresh in their mind and muscles.
Extension cable available to increase distance to monitor up to 40 feet.
They then get correction (or make changes themselves) and jump back in to see if they can correct the movement. (25's work well for this.) The effectiveness of this is that they can experiment after each viewing and see immediately what correction will make their stroke more efficient and FASTER. This can be done for select swimmers in one lane while the rest of the team practices.
This option is now included with any AquaCam purchased. Instructions for free downloaded software can set a delay from 20 seconds to 2 minutes.
Time delay your swimmers from any angle ! Longer cables for the AquaCam are available. Coach can help correct or let the swimmers correct themselves or each other.
